Jean Wanecq founded his gallery at 12 rue des Saints-Peres in 1950. Joined by his wife Gertraud in 1977 they have since established a major presence in the minds of collectors, curators and designers as one of Paris’s sources for French quality Antique Furniture and Works of Art. Their gallery is predominantly specialized in fine French furniture and decorative arts from the seventeenth to early nineteenth century.
